Accela Announces Availability of Web-based Asset Management Solution

DUBLIN, Calif., Sept. 7 -- Accela, Inc., the leading provider of government enterprise management software solutions, announced today the commercial availability of a Web-based asset management solution. Accela Asset Management(TM) is now integrated with the Accela Automation(R) product suite, enabling agencies to take advantage of a Web-based enterprise solution that automates and tracks the activities of every department within an agency. Accela Asset Management tracks and manages an agency's entire assets and resources, providing an automated solution for costing, inventory, maintenance, and inspections. The solution is flexible enough to manage an agency's entire assets including fleet, street, water, wastewater, parks and recreation, plant and facilities, sewer, railway, and roadway. Departments that benefit from this solution include public works, water utilities, sanitary districts, facilities, transportation, parks and recreation, and any other department that manages or tracks agency assets.

Accela Asset Management will debut at the American Public Works Association (APWA) International Public Works Congress & Exposition in Minneapolis, Minnesota on September 11 - 14. Attendees will get a first-look at the Web-based application when they visit Accela at Booth #2105. In addition, Accela representatives will be participating in two speaking opportunities during the conference.
