For this new version of the Fantasy Football Companion, CBS SportsLine.com has partnered with the NFL to co-brand the product and make it available to the millions of CBS SportsLine.com and NFL.com fantasy football participants. Essentially a full-featured mobile extension of CBS SportsLine.com’s and NFL.com’s online fantasy football leagues, Fantasy Football Companion is tightly integrated with the online version and lets subscribers fully manage and manipulate their lineups, including player adds and drops, anytime, anywhere.

Data is updated every 20 seconds for fantasy stats and new content is displayed automatically every 60 seconds with manual updates available at any time. In addition to the live scoring and statistics, users can view player profiles, news headlines and injury reports, move players to injured reserve, or add and drop players as necessary. The Free Agent board provides detailed stats of all players who can be added dynamically to active rosters. Subscribers can also view all competing teams and match-up comparisons and use the Player Search function to run queries on all teams, players and positions.
