NAVTEQ(R) Data Powers Proxix Solutions for Multinational Geocoder
CHICAGO, -- NAVTEQ (NYSE: NVT), a leading global provider of digital map data for location-based solutions, has been selected by Proxix Solutions, a leading provider of location intelligence solutions, as the provider of street data for Proxix's multinational geocoding and spatial analysis API, PxPoint.
PxPoint's advanced matching algorithms and ability to use multiple data sources, including NAVTEQ's street data, U.S. parcel boundaries and client Shapefiles, delivers positional accuracy. In addition, PxPoint's spatial option will allow NAVTEQ customers to understand geographic relationships. For example, with PxPoint LBS providers can rapidly identify restaurants in close proximity of a customer.
PxPoint's capabilities and advanced matching technology are ideal for NAVTEQ data customers needing to accurately locate physical addresses and analyze spatial relationships for making smarter, more profitable business decisions.
