LOS ANGELES-- Aug. 10, 2006 -- Smart SMS Corp. (OTC:STMC), an Internet entertainment company specializing in mobile marketing campaigns, announces its partnership with Media Lead LLC, a leading international mobile entertainment publishing and distribution agency, to offer premium short message service (SMS) providing direct-to-phone mobile billing to consumer markets for the purchase of Media Lead LLC's catalog of mobile phone games, wallpapers, ringtones, truetones, video ringtones and video clips.
"This agreement utilizes both partners' respective strengths -- Media Lead's extensive content base and our ability to mix marketing and technology to create increased revenue streams for both entities," said Gordon Lee, CEO, Smart SMS Corp.
"The use of SmartSMS(TM) direct-to-phone billing technology offers our customers a convenient, simple solution for purchasing our games and other mobile content from us and our customers' mobile portals," added Chris Beer, President, Media Lead LLC.
Net revenue from the sales of Media Lead LLC's products, ranging from $0.99 to $5.99, via SmartSMS(TM) is split equally between both companies.
