Homeland Security Corporation to Begin Distributing Child Tracking Device

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- August 18, 2006 -- Homeland Security Corporation (PINKSHEETS: HSCC) has begun distributing a "Child Tracking" device to its current customer base.

Homeland Security Corporation has completed testing on a Tri-Band modem worldwide real tracking system and "Emergency Communicator." Through a password protected user interface, the customer can locate their tracking device(s). Through proprietary mapping software, a user can quickly obtain current location, including map and full street address, set-up geofencing alarm and obtain historical data.

The "Emergency" SOS button sends location and message to preset numbers (mom/dad) or emails, and allows actual emergency voice calls to 2 preset numbers. At half the size of a deck of cards, the unit can be easily concealed or attached to a loved one, a pet, or a valuable asset. The device can work in the United States and Europe.

Homeland Security Corporation has now augmented its GPS tracking product line with this low cost tracking and locating device for children, grandchildren and teenagers as well as pets, cars, boats and certain Fleets applications. At a sales price of less then $400 and a monthly tracking package of $19.95 per month, the device will cover those markets that the company has been targeting.
