WirelessDevNet.com Press Release
Aepona Partners with ION Technologies for "Click-Talk-Sell" Digital Direct Marketing solution
Belfast, United Kingdom, 5th December 2006: Aepona, the leading supplier
of Service Network products and solutions to telecoms operators
worldwide, and ION Technologies, a successful provider of email
marketing and campaign management solutions, today announced a strategic
partnership to deliver the Click-Talk-Sell voice-enabled digital direct
marketing service.
By integrating the Aepona Universal Service Platform and ION
Technologies' Subscribe Email Marketing system, direct marketing emails
can now be enabled with a 'phone me' option. The 'phone me' option
allows the customer to quickly and easily establish a phone conference
with the merchant with a single click. The Click-Talk-Sell service
verifies the customer's phone number and brokers a toll-free two way
call between the customer and the merchant. The end-customer gets
through to the right person first time, and the merchant gets direct and
immediate person-to-person communication with prospective customers.
With real time monitoring and reporting, the merchant is always up to
date on how many customers have been contacted and how many taken up the
'phone-me' option.
The Click-Talk-Sell service is powered by the Aepona Universal Service
Platform (USP). The USP provides a common, standards-based service layer
framework allowing the Click-Talk-Sell service to be rapidly integrated
into operators' networks. The USP acts as a pre-integrated gateway for
the Click-Talk-Sell application to network resources such as switching
and billing systems, working in both legacy (SS7) and next-generation
(SIP) signalling environments.
"We are delighted to be partnering with Aepona to enhance the
capabilities of the ION Subscribe digital direct marketing offering,"
said Niall McKeown, CEO of ION Technologies. "Aepona's global customer
base and proven technology will be a valuable channel to market for our
solution. I look forward to working with ION's existing customers to
upgrade their current installed systems with the Click-Talk-Sell
feature, and in the process bring new business opportunities to Aepona's
network operator customers."
"Announcing this partnership with ION Technologies marks another step in
our strategy of providingg our customers with application-led offerings
that can enhance their competitiveness in the market," said Isaac
Olasoko, Aepona's CEO. "The ION Click-Talk-Sell service deployed in
conjunction with Aepona's Universal Service Platform creates another
tool for Network Operators as they look for incremental revenue streams
in the enterprise segment."
