RegiSoft signs deal with Wayin Solutions for Mobile Marketing and Mobile Ticketing in South Africa
Tel Aviv, December 15th 2006 - RegiSoft, a leading developer of cellular VAS technology and Wayin Solutions, a mobile marketing company based in Johannesburg, South Africa, have signed an agreement whereby Wayin will use RegiSoft’s World Trade Server™ (WTS™) platform to offer mobile marketing, interactive campaigns, mobile ticketing and personalized mobile content distribution to innovative brands and their South African consumers.
According to Wayin Marketing Director Kwanele Mpanza, “Using the WTS™ platform, we aim to provide South African brands with a "way in" to the minds of their customers!” Wayin’s mission is to connect individuals to the world via their mobile handset and to convert ordinary South Africans into true global citizens by using their mobile handsets as nomadic portals to the global village. Recent statistics from Wireless World Forum’s “South Africa Mobile Market” handbook shows that there will be almost 30 million South African mobile phone owners by 2007, more than in the Canadian and Australian markets combined. Wayin is targeting this huge, mostly untapped, market with mobile media and marketing solutions designed for the South African context.
