Envox Worldwide Opens New EMEA Headquarters in UK


WESTBOROUGH, MA (February 7, 2006) — Envox Worldwide, a leading global provider of voice solutions, today announced that it has opened a regional office in Fleet, Hampshire, UK. The new location will serve as the headquarters for the Company’s EMEA operation, and provide a base for all sales, marketing, technical support, and customer education & training activities in the region.

Nick Applegarth, managing director of Envox EMEA, will oversee the new facility. Since joining Envox Worldwide in the fall of 2004, Mr. Applegarth has been responsible for all of the market and customer development activities in the region. During his tenure, key staff members have been added, including those in customer facing positions such as sales, marketing, technical support and customer education and training, to bring the total number of Envox Worldwide employees in the region to over 45. Additional appointments are planned in 2006 to ensure that the company can meet the growing customer demand for its products and related services in EMEA.

The move to Fleet is the latest in a series of steps taken by Envox Worldwide in a strategic growth plan that has included the acquisition of CT Connect and CT ADE from Intel Corporation, and the start of a major marketing push and expansion in the UK and Europe. Envox has also recently announced major new product upgrades, significant third party recognition for its products and the expansion of its global distribution network. Envox Worldwide is undergoing a similar expansion in Asia Pacific where the company has opened a regional office in Singapore. The new location will serve as the headquarters for the Company’s APAC operation, and provide a base for all sales, marketing, technical support and customer education & training activities in the region.

Applegarth said, “This move marks an important milestone for us. It gives us the platform we need to move into the next crucial phase of our growth in Europe. As well as building up our EMEA team, a key part of our road map for 2006 is to expand our network of value added resellers (VARs) and systems integrators (SIs). This new office in Fleet puts us in the perfect location to do all of that. 2006 will be a big year in the voice solutions market and we are taking every step to ensure we’re in a position to capitalize on, and lead, the sector’s overall growth.”
