NeoMedia Closes "Whirlwind Week of Acquisitions" With Interview by Tobin Smith
FT. MYERS, Fla., Feb. 27, 2006 – NeoMedia Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: NEOM), an innovator in wireless services and patented technologies that provide automatic links to content on the Mobile Internet, finished its two-week acquisition spree in the U.S. and Europe late last week by having Charles W. Fritz, its chairman and founder, interviewed by Tobin Smith on an international broadcast on BizRadio1320.com.

NeoMedia’s acquisitions discussed on the radio interview were:
12snap AG, a Munich-based award-winning leader in marketing and entertainment applications and programs via cell phones, for $22 million in cash and shares;
Gavitec AG - mobile digit, a German provider of mobile technology and marketing solutions, for $7.2 million in cash and NeoMedia shares;
Sponge, a London-based leader in developing and implementing mobile applications and delivering content to U.K. and international customers, for $17.4 million, including $6 million in cash and the remainder in NeoMedia shares.
Also discussed on-air were NeoMedia’s two moves of the previous week – completing the acquisition of Mobot®, Inc., of Lexington, Mass., a pioneer in mobile visual recognition technology, and signing an LOI to acquire HipCricket, Inc. of Essex., Conn., a provider of custom mobile marketing solutions to broadcasters and brand marketers.
