Brightpoint to Distribute Handmark® Software Applications
KANSAS CITY, MO — (11 January 2006) — Handmark®, a global leader in mobile media, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Brightpoint North America L.P. ("Brightpoint”) to distribute Handmark software applications to the Brightpoint industry-leading network of retailers and wireless carriers. Brightpoint North America L.P. is a subsidiary of Brightpoint, Inc.
(NASDAQ:CELL).
Initially, Brightpoint will offer more than two-dozen award-winning Handmark packaged products including the Pocket Express™ wireless service bundle, and Oxford University Press reference titles along with the Handmark portfolio of must-have licensed entertainment titles and class-leading productivity titles.
