Unwiredtec, Inc. Releases the Second Version of a Free Online Ringtone Converter
NEW YORK, NY - Unwiredtec, Inc., a leading provider of mobile content adaptation and transcoding technologies for over 6 years, releases the second version of a free online ringtone converter available at www.convert-ringtones.com. The free system is targeted at individuals and companies that need to convert ringtones for their mobile phones occasionally, on a one-to-one basis. Convert-Ringtones utilizes the award-winning Ringtone Creator 2.4 transcoding engine and allows performing a number of operations on ringtones like cropping, limiting file size, reducing polyphony, fading, trimming, adding vibration. The online service supports 24 ringtone formats and modifications and more than a hundred configurable options - enough to support 99% of all cell phones available in all parts of the world.
The user uploads her monophonic, polyphonic or a master ringtone to Unwiredtec's server and specifies the conversion parameters unique to the target mobile phone. Convert-Ringtones then performs all requested transformations and produces the desired ringtone, which can be downloaded to the cell phone via WAP Pull or downloaded to the PC and uploaded to the phone manually.
Version 3 of Convert-Ringtones scheduled for the end of Q1 2006 will be based on Unwiredtec's Enterflex 1.2 content transcoding platform and will support seamless adaptation of the user's ringtone for about 2000 cell phones from various countries and carriers. It will also offer free ringtone delivery via WAP Push and/or SMS.
