Even Technologies Inc. (“Even” or the “Company”, TSX-V: ETI) of Vancouver, Canada, today announces its agreement with UK-based SwanBay Mobile Media to deploy Even’s patented PSI_VTM video compression technology in mobile video solutions.

SwanBay Mobile Media provides mobile video solutions that enable mobile content providers and mobile network operators to deliver high quality video content such as music videos, news clips and film trailers efficiently across mobile networks.

Even Technologies’ PSI_V™ codec is capable of compressing video for a range of mobile formats. The video can be output into various screen sizes and resolutions to fit with leading mobile platforms.

The first deployment of Even’s mobile solution will be carried out by Swanbay Mobile Media by September 2006.

Nick Ringma, President and CEO of Even Technologies, said, “By entering into the agreement with SwanBay Mobile Media, Even Technologies has once again proven that its patented video compression technology can be successfully applied across all sectors in the telephone industry. With Even’s PSI_V™, SwanBay Mobile Media will be able to offer mobile operators an opportunity to stream video to mobile handsets at 100 – 125 Kbps and have the flexibility to grow with new networks and technologies.”

Lester Pearson, Director of Swanbay Mobile Media, said, “Thanks to Even’s application, based on the company’s Smart Compression for the mobile sector, SwanBay Mobile Media will enable mobile content providers and mobile network operators to deliver high quality video content to mobile devices at bitrates that are compatible with the current mobile transport networks. The application of Even’s advanced compression technology to the emerging mobile video sector will change the economics of the mobile video eco-system, unlocking new opportunities for mobile content providers and mobile network operators.”

The technology will enable SwanBay Mobile Media to provide economically feasible business model for generating profit through video delivery.
