Even Technologies Deploys PSI_V™ Video Compression Technology for the Mobile Sector
Even Technologies Inc. (“Even” or the “Company”, TSX-V: ETI) of Vancouver, Canada, today announces its agreement with UK-based SwanBay Mobile Media to deploy Even’s patented PSI_VTM video compression technology in mobile video solutions.
SwanBay Mobile Media provides mobile video solutions that enable mobile content providers and mobile network operators to deliver high quality video content such as music videos, news clips and film trailers efficiently across mobile networks.
Even Technologies’ PSI_V™ codec is capable of compressing video for a range of mobile formats. The video can be output into various screen sizes and resolutions to fit with leading mobile platforms.
The first deployment of Even’s mobile solution will be carried out by Swanbay Mobile Media by September 2006.

The technology will enable SwanBay Mobile Media to provide economically feasible business model for generating profit through video delivery.
JupiterResearch, an independent body providing research, analysis and advice on the impact of emerging consumer technologies on businesses worldwide, predicts that by 2010 the US mobile video market alone will reach revenues of $501 million.
