Pollex’s New OPNA Platform Empowers JAVA
Pollex has announced that it has introduced a new JAVA solution for cellular handsets through the integration of its OPNA platform with modules from Aplix, which specializes in mobile JAVA technologies.

Embedded JAVA inherits the superior portability of JAVA and reinforces JAVA’s strong capabilities in the realm of cellular handsets. In its cooperation with Aplix, Pollex has successfully integrated both the Jbed and JBlend JAVA modules. The enhanced JAVA portability made possible by this new development brings the operational efficiency of the OPNA platform to a new high. Furthermore, the new pre-integration JAVA solution greatly reduces the development cycle and time-to-market of cellular handset development.
After several years of intensive R&D, Pollex has been able to create a rich set of interfaces for the OPNA cellular software platform. Since its initial launch, the gradual evolution of the OPNA platform has had a significant impact on the cellular handset industry.
