Trivial Pursuit?, the most celebrated trivia board game of all time, recently moved from the family living room to mobile handsets and is available from most major mobile carriers in the U.S. Published by Starwave Mobile, the mobile game brings the board game's familiar trivia teasers and graphic design to phone subscribers' handsets. It boasts a diverse catalog of questions that differ from the board, online and PC versions of the game so players can maximize their trivia knowledge. The mobile adaptation also retains the game's competitive nature by offering a leaderboard system and tournament challenges, allowing players to compete for the highest- listed score.

"For more than 22 years, people around the world have battled wits in a good, old fashioned Trivial Pursuit game, and it's exciting to see trivia fans now enjoying this classic game on the go from their phones," said Jim Ware, president of Horn Abbot Ltd., owner of the Trivial Pursuit trademark. "We're just having fun looking at the area code results, but it's a great example of how mobile extends the competition of the game. Players really vie for top of the leaderboard."
