Fonix Releases New and Improved VoiceIn 4.1 Voice Recognition Solution at 06 Developers Conference
SALT LAKE CITY-- March 21, 2006--Fonix Speech Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fonix Corp. This new 4.1 release is the most accurate voice recognition solution from Fonix for the video game market.
Fonix's award-winning VoiceIn software for adding voice interfaces to video games is available for Microsoft Xbox(R), Sony PlayStation(R)2 and PC video game developers. Fonix VoiceIn is optimized for game development where memory and processing power are at a premium and is built upon Fonix's proprietary neural network-based automatic speech recognition. A total of 13 video games are available on the retail market featuring Fonix speech technology.

VoiceIn 4.1, based upon Fonix's new and improved ASR technology, improves voice recognition accuracy. Additionally, this release provides added filters and controls that allow game developers to better block background noise and exclude words that aren't included in the command dictionary.
