SMSActive Plans to Add VOIP to its iDemand Platform
VANCOUVER, March 21 - SMSActive Technologies Corp.
(OTC: SMSE), announced today that it will soon begin the re-development of its
iDemand platform to include several broadband telephone services such as VOIP,
IP TV and WebTV.
The SMSActive platform, iDemand, is a fully functional carrier grade
application that allows the user to access text, images, ringtones, stock
quotes, local weather, and many other custom applications such as the SMS
T-Bar, SMSActive's mobile instant messaging application.
iDemand is backed by ten (10) patent-pending solutions which are
supported by five (5) trademarks. Through iDemand SMSActive can target
specific corporate needs by providing customized mobile applications and (soon
to come) broadband telephone services, in short iDemand gives SMSActive the
ability to provide information on demand. Such applications and solutions
enable companies to take advantage of the fastest growing text and broadband

In 2005 VoIP subscribers in the Asia Pacific region grew to 14.2 million
with projected growth to reach 49.9 million by 2009. In North America with
4.3 million subscribers in 2005 the anticipated growth rate is 800 percent by
the year 2009; this would produce almost 35 million new subscribers.
Communications market research firm In-Stat notes that VoIP "continues an
impressive 62 percent year-over-year subscriber growth rate with factors such
as broadband competition and regulatory policy as the primary market drivers".
