UpSNAP Launches Podcast Service to 200M Mobile Devices
Davidson, NC March 31, 2006 -- UpSNAP, Inc. (NASDAQ UPSN:OB), the premier provider of free mobile search and streaming mobile audio entertainment announces the addition of podcast content to its catalog of streaming audio services. Podcast listeners can now access their favorite podcasts using any mobile device in the U.S., without downloading files or using an MP3 player. The service also eliminates the need for ongoing subscription requirements and is available on-demand, anytime, anywhere.
Leveraging their proprietary call-connect technology, UpSNAP’s new service offers podcasters the ability to distribute their steaming audio to each of the more than 200 million mobile phones in the U.S. The service is available through SMS or WAP interfaces.
