Mobility Electronics Wins 'Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Award' for iGo(R) everywhere85

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.-- Mobility Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: MOBE), a leading provider of innovative portable power and computing solutions for the mobile electronic device user, announced today that it has won an innovation award to be showcased at the 2007 International CES for the iGo everywhere85. This new universal notebook power adapter, which will launch at CES, improves upon the company’s flagship product iGo® Juice®70 with a lighter weight, smaller size and sleeker design.

“It is an honor to win this prestigious award and receive recognition for the iGo everywhere85 as we prepare to bring this product to market,” said Charles Mollo, chief executive officer of Mobility Electronics. “With our goal to make mobile living simpler for every consumer, we created this new design of our most popular product, bundled it with our iGo dualpower® accessory, and added a number of clever new cord management features. We’ve made it even easier for our customers to power up all of their devices with just one, simple solution.”

The iGo everywhere85 can be used with over 6,800 notebook models and is 20 percent smaller materially than any other similar product on the market. This new adapter comes packaged with the new iGo dualpower accessory, which allows users to simultaneously power their notebook and a low-power device, such as a mobile phone or MP3 player.

Like all iGo adapters, the iGo everywhere85 leverages the company’s patented tip technology, which allows one adapter to charge multiple devices through the use of interchangeable tips. Users are able to charge hundreds of brands and thousands of models of mobile electronic devices quickly and easily.

The iGo everywhere85 will be available in the first quarter of 2007 online at www.iGo.com and at select retail locations nationwide. The suggested retail price for this adapter is $129.99.

The iGo everywhere85 universal notebook power adapter offers the following key features and benefits:

The combination AC/DC adapter utilizes any standard wall, auto or airplane outlet and works with international plugs.

The iGo everywhere85 comes with the iGo dualpower accessory and auto charging plug and a selection of popular notebook tips for use with brands including Compaq, Dell, Gateway, HP and Toshiba. The bundled package allows users to simultaneously charge their notebook and another gadget such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth® headset, smartphone, MP3 player and more, eliminating the need to purchase and carry separate adapters.

The iGo dualpower accessory functions as a stand alone auto adapter for low power devices. The iGo everywhere85 has a meaningful increase in power density from other iGo adapters, resulting in a significant size reduction and evolutionary design that is smaller and lighter. It also has improved cord features making handling easier for users.
