VoiceCue Technologies Partners With Preferred Voice to Provide Wireless Carriers
CHICAGO--VoiceCue Technologies, Inc., a telecommunications applications software company specializing in real-time prepay billing, announced it has formed a partnership with Preferred Voice, Inc. (PVI) (OTC Bulletin Board: PFVI - News), a leading provider of mobile personalization services, to offer loyalty services, including ringback services, to mobile operators.
Together, VoiceCue Technologies and Preferred Voice will enable regional operators to offer innovative, ARPU-enriching solutions tailored to their customers. This strategic partnership allows for the economic distribution and integration of services, enabling smaller carriers to have access to platforms that typically have prohibitive costs.
"Tier II, Tier III carriers and MVNOs generally are limited in their resources to purchase full-service suites and platforms as other major operators do," said Susan Hanna Bennett, VoiceCue's vice president of sales and marketing. "In serving these regional providers, one key objective is to create end-to-end prepaid and loyalty hosted solutions that help them drive subscriber retention and maximize revenues."
Ringback tones follow on the global success of ringtones, by allowing mobile phone users to personally communicate with the person they are calling before the call is even answered. The ringback is triggered by an incoming call, and plays a custom audio clip to the phone of the person who has placed the original call. These customized ringbacks can range from popular music clips to pre-recorded voice messages that help introduce the caller.
Preferred Voice launched the first commercially available ringback service in the United States in late 2004. Preferred Voice provides a complete end-to-end solution including the technology platform, proprietary ringback software, and a robust content library.
"We're excited to be working with VoiceCue Technologies, which has a track record of delivering innovative solutions through its wireless and banking services divisions that meet the needs of wireless operators and third party processors," said Les Gay, Preferred Voice's vice president of business development. "We will work with VoiceCue to provide domestic and global carrier customers with the most imaginative services available that deliver additional value and flexibility in order to grow their business."
