Nellymoser Founder and CEO to Talk About The Future of Mobile Music At Digital Music Forum West
WHAT: John Puterbaugh, co-founder and CEO of Nellymoser, Inc., the leading next-generation mobile media platform company, will be participating in the panel: “The Future of Mobile Music.” Along with the other panelists at the October 5th Digital Music Forum West event, he will address how music is changing in the mobile channel and how streaming media impacts the delivery of music. Applying his professional perspective on delivering music experiences to mobile handsets, Puterbaugh will highlight the growing revenue opportunities, as well as emerging technologies that are shaping the future of music content and delivery.
Puterbaugh has over 15 years of experience in creating and developing interactive multimedia solutions for IP networks, mobile phones and other consumer products. Before Nellymoser, he was CTO of Voxonic, a voice technology solutions provider for the film and entertainment industry. Puterbaugh also held a number of senior management positions at Voxware, Inc., one of the first companies to provide Internet voice chat and real-time streaming solutions for companies such as Disney, Microsoft, Nokia and Netscape. He holds patents in voice analysis and synthesis, the generation of identification signals for electronic devices, and also in voice transformation. Educated at Princeton University, Dartmouth College and Oberlin College, he has taught courses and lectured on interdisciplinary topics related to music, computers and cognition.
