Gameloft To Launch the Third Game in Successful Asphalt Franchise
New York - Gameloft®, a leading publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones, is announcing today the launch of Asphalt 3: Street RulesTM, third opus of the best-selling racing game franchise on mobile phones.
The first two installments, Asphalt: Urban GTTM and Asphalt: Urban GTTM 2, have surpassed a combined 3 million downloads worldwide.
Building on the trademark of the acclaimed Asphalt franchise (luxury cars, intense police pursuits and spectacular driving), this third opus takes players into the heart of the underground racing world for the first time on mobile. Aggressive driving will be encouraged thanks to brand new features: the “cash attack” mode will reward players for drifting or smashing into opponents. In addition to that, whenever gamers drive in spectacular ways a TV helicopter will show up to film their exploits live, doubling their earnings.
Asphalt 3: Street Rules offers a choice of 9 cars and 3 bikes coming directly from the world’s most prestigious manufacturers such as Lamborghini and Aston Martin.
Players will be able to impose their aggressive driving style in the four corners of the world, from Tokyo to Rome.
Thanks to 3D elements, Asphalt 3: Street Rules provides an insane sense of speed. Racing fans will also be able to tune up to 16 elements on their dream cars to assert their personality on the city streets.
The game is available through 160 telecom operators, 150 partners, in 70 countries, and on www.gameloft.com . It has been adapted to 600 different cell phone models.
