Mobio Announces the Availability of the GetMobio Mobile Lifestyle Portal
CUPERTINO, Calif.,-- Mobio Networks today announced the release of GetMobio, the first mobile lifestyle portal that offers over 50 free applications and widgets on the mobile phone. For the first time, anyone can download the GetMobio lifestyle portal at http:/www.getmobio.com and get instant access to their favorite Web content and services right on their mobile phones.
"Mobile phone users are hungry for mobile applications and content that meet their needs, but the challenge is that those needs are constantly changing based the individual's current interests, tastes, and inclinations," said Ramneek Bhasin, CEO of Mobio. GetMobio is a free service that consists of over 50 dynamic applications, widgets and RSS feeds. The GetMobio lifestyle portal features collections of Web service mash-ups that include the hottest nightclubs, restaurants, movies and local events. GetMobio ships with 10 collections that range from "After Midnight" to "Outwitting the Kids." Mobio is also offering Cricket Center - Live! and Mobio Cricket Center - Fantasy for free as part of the US based download.
