Sprint Customers in Mid-Missouri Can Experience Faster Mobile Broadband Service Firsthand


Sprint customers throughout mid-Missouri on Thursday December 20, 2007 can now do more with wireless thanks to a faster mobile broadband network from Sprint (NYSE: S). Sprint Mobile Broadband with EV-DO (Evolution - Data Optimized) Revision (Rev.) A technology, combined with a wide variety of EV-DO Rev. A-capable devices, allow customers to send and receive email with large file attachments, access the Internet in seconds and enjoy streaming video and other real-time applications, as well as location-based solutions, on the go.

In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for local residents in Middlesex County, Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ), operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network, on Thursday December 20, 2007 has expanded its network with a new cell site. The new site provides new coverage and capacity along Routes 128 and 38 in northern portions of Woburn and the surrounding area. Verizon Wireless invested $145 million during the first six months of the year to enhance wireless capacity and coverage throughout the six states of New England, elevating the cumulative network investment in the region to more than $2 billion since 2000.

Diamond I, Inc.
