Mobile Complete Expands Rapidly into Europe with UK Office Opening
(SAN MATEO, CA, LONDON, UK) – – Mobile Complete, the global leader of handset proliferation management, has just added former Motorola CTO John Major to its board of directors amid an aggressive worldwide expansion. That expansion is reflected in a new office geared around testing applications on European carriers based in London. Mobile Complete opened doors in London just this week, joining new offices in Washington, Kansas, Georgia, Florida, Sweden and Israel.
"Customers are seeing the need for what we're offering," said Mobile Complete CEO Faraz Syed, "and building a local presence supports a better testing experience with improved capabilities."
Mobile Complete provides evaluation applications to the global developer community, for use with UK carriers like Vodaphone, 3, O2, Orange and T-Mobile. Their in-network access allows for easy on-device testing of a carrier's mobile applications and content, without having to be in the UK. All validations are performed remotely, on hundreds of handsets, through a simple desktop interface. The innovative testing service is allowing several Fortune 500 clients to test applications for Sony Ericsson, LG, Audiovox, Nokia, Samsung, Sanyo, Palm, Motorola, and several other handsets manufacturers.
"The popularity of our handset management and development solutions have fuelled the expansion efforts to better serve our European services," continued Syed. "Additionally, we are fortunate that this growth is attracting industry veterans like John Major to our board."
As CTO of Motorola, Mr. Major directed a broad range of research initiatives at Motorola, leading company efforts to develop the brand's world-class software. Prior to Motorola, Major chaired the Board of Governors' executive committees for the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) and the Electronic Industries Association (EIA). He has also acted as CEO for Apacheta, Novatel Wireless, and Wireless Knowledge, and holds an honorary doctorate from Westminster College.
Major comes aboard at an exciting time, according to Syed. “As part of our expansion, we're now offering a remote, Pan-European service for testing live handsets. Put another way," he adds, "we're taking the guesswork out of your mobile application delivery."
