TCS Inc. and Inrix Partner to Enable Enterprise Workers to Become More Traffic Aware
ANNAPOLIS, Md. and KIRKLAND, Wash., Feb. 20 -- Inrix Inc., the leading provider of traffic information, and TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. (TCS) , a leading provider of mission-critical wireless data solutions, today announced the enhancement of TCS' 20/20 Mobility Suite(TM) through the incorporation of Inrix's real-time traffic information.
The TCS 20/20 Mobility Suite(TM) provides enterprises with complete visibility into their mobile workforces, including proof of delivery and related information for managing outside-the-warehouse logistics. With the addition of Inrix's real-time traffic technology, 20/20 Traffic Alerts can monitor traffic incidents in the vicinity of the driver's planned route and alert the driver's wireless mobile computer when traffic incidents occur. The real-time traffic information, provided by Inrix in partnership with Clear Channel's Total Traffic Network, allows the driver to avoid potential delays due to traffic congestion or road closures.
