SHAPE Services to Release an Update for TSMobiles with Windows Vista Remote Desktop Access Added
STUTTGART, Germany, Jan. 24 -- Today, SHAPE Services released an update for TSMobiles, which now supports remote PC access to Windows Vista Remote Desktop. With Windows Vista OS available for public use not earlier that January 30th, 2007, TSMobiles is going to be the first application on the market with such compatibility. Now the users of any Windows OS with Remote Desktop capability may use the application on their BlackBerry handhelds and Java-powered phones.
TSMobiles recreates the desktop of a remote computer on the phone's display and lets the user interact with it in real time in much the same way as on the PC. This includes an ability to execute mouse and keyboard commands. With TSMobiles software in place, it is possible to edit electronic documents that reside on the remote computer, read and send emails in Outlook or Outlook Express, surf the web, manage files and folders, perform administrative tasks and much more.
Today there are many jobs that require people to be hooked to the PC 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, while being totally mobile. "You can use TSMobiles to provide technical assistance in configuring a corporate computer without ever leaving the office or remotely monitor a corporate server and fix problems in case of failures," said Igor Berezovsky, the company's CEO, as if to stress the importance of having TSMobiles.
