Kore Telematics Receives Two Value Chain Awards for Innovative M2M Implementations

(M2M) market, today announced that it received two Silver M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards for successful M2M implementations at Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc. and Jaguar Cars USA. Value Chain Awards recognize the most successful adopters of M2M technology and their enablers, and highlight the process of combining technologies to create innovative M2M solutions for end customers.

The M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards continue to be the benchmark of success in the M2M industry. KORE and its partners, U.S. Fleet Tracking Corporation and MicroTRAKgps in conjunction with Enfora, received the Silver Value Chain Awards at the fourth annual M2M United Conference held on June 20 in Chicago.

KORE and its partners received Silver M2M Magazine Value Chain Awards in the following categories:
* Fleet Management Category-Kirby-Smith Machinery, Inc., a rental and service firm that provides construction, utility and mining equipment, received a Silver Value Chain Award in the Fleet Management category for its M2M solution that remotely tracks vehicle location. The M2M solution is powered by KORE and its partner, U.S. Fleet Tracking, and enables Kirby-Smith Machinery to immediately dispatch service trucks for jobs that would have previously had to wait to the next day. This has enabled Kirby-Smith Machinery to improve its customer service and operating efficiency.
* Location-based Services Category-Jaguar Cars USA, a luxury vehicle manufacturer that is part of Ford Motor Co., received a Silver Value Chain Award for its JaguarWatch service. JaguarWatch is an M2M vehicle-tracking solution powered by KORE and its partners, MicroTRAKgps and Enfora, that is available on all 2007 Jaguar cars sold in the U.S.
JaguarWatch enables Jaguar owners to monitor the location of his or her vehicle over the Web. With the M2M solution, Jaguar Cars USA has improved customer service by answering the market’s demand for an asset-protection system that provides additional car insurance discounts. Jaguar and its dealerships have also benefited from increased revenue created through the sale and installation of the monitoring unit.
