SkyCross Partners with Beceem Communications to Offer Integrated Solutions for WiMAX
VIERA, Florida—June 12, 2007 — SkyCross, a global wireless company providing antenna-centric RF solutions, today announced a partnership with Beceem Communications to provide complete, integrated WiMAX solutions for last-mile broadband connectivity. The partnership brings together two leading innovators in the developing WiMAX market. Beceem commercially offers a chipset solution suitable for mobile, portable, and fixed applications for the approved IEEE 802.16E standard. SkyCross designed and manufactured the first antennas for Samsung PC cards sold in South Korea for WiBro, a WiMAX-compliant offering.
