WirelessDevNet.com Press Release

BodyTel Scientific’s GlucoTel Meter Ready for Clinical Trials

HENDERSON, Nev.--BodyTel Scientific, Inc. (OTCBB:BDYT), a company focused on the development of innovative wireless healthcare products, reported today that it has completed the first production run of the GlucoTel Meter which will be used for upcoming clinical studies and premarketing initiatives. Management will be showcasing the first conforming samples of the GlucoTel product at the world’s largest diabetes show. Product demonstrations will be held at the American Diabetes Association 67th annual Scientific Sessions in Chicago, June 22-26, 2007.

The GlucoTel Meter is the first and only blood glucose monitoring device in the world with integrated Bluetooth(TM) technology. The meter is part of the GlucoTel system, which is a complete telemedical diabetes self-management system supporting patients and doctors in the treatment of diabetes and its secondary complications. The GlucoTel blood glucose meter collects blood sugar readings and sends them to the patient's mobile phone via Bluetooth. Afterwards, the data is automatically sent to a secure Internet database via SMS and is centrally held there long-term. GlucoTel enables involvement of the patients in the treatment of diabetes, and thereby improves the information basis and communication between doctor and patient and thus contributes to the course of therapy.

Stefan Schraps, CEO of BodyTel Scientific, commented, “We are extremely pleased to announce that we have completed the manufacturing of the first working prototypes of the GlucoTel meter and will be showcasing the device for the first time at the ADA show in Chicago. This first batch of meters will be used for our rapidly approaching clinical studies as well as for marketing and demonstration purposes as we solidify our strategic partners.”

“By securely transmitting and recording accurate glucose data to patients and physicians we believe we can reduce healthcare costs and improve patient outcomes. The American Diabetes Association has always been a strong supporter of Companies that seek to improve patient care while addressing the rising cost of treatment. This event is an ideal venue to unveil our leading edge device,” continued Mr. Schraps.

The Scientific Sessions are held in June each year and provide an opportunity for members of the diabetes community from around the world to participate in the largest annual research and clinical meeting on diabetes. Sessions focus on the latest information in the areas of basic and clinical research and on the application of this information to clinical practice. The program includes symposia, oral and poster abstract presentations, interactive workshops, poster discussions, and other small group learning sessions.
