Mobile Commerce and Oodle UK First to Put Classifieds Onto Mobile
Mobile Commerce have partnered with Oodle UK, the on-line classified search engine, to integrate their classified advertising search index for use on mobile.
Offering expertise in both search and content aggregation, together with proven routes of distribution, Mobile Commerce was an obvious partner for Oodle.
Mobile Commerce have developed a WAP utility that allows the user to search through Oodle's classified listings on any WAP enabled mobile phone.
This service will be the first of its type and gives the consumer further utility on their mobile phone.
Commenting on the deal, Duncan Dunlop, General Manager of Oodle UK, said “Classified advertising and mobile are an obvious fit. The perishable nature of classifieds means it is crucial that users are informed immediately their searched-for item becomes available - whether it is the perfect flat, or tickets to a sold out concert.
