Origin GeoSystems Announces Origin Mobile
Atlanta, GA – Origin GeoSystems announces the latest edition to its
robust Origin GIS software family – Origin Mobile.
Origin Mobile, powered by GO! Sync, is an easy-to-use, easy-to-deploy mobile map
viewing application with an underlying extensible framework for adding
customizations and integrating with third party systems. Like all Origin GeoSystems
products, Origin Mobile is built squarely on ERSI’s ArcGIS platform.
The enabling GO! Sync Mobile GIS technology is being made available to Origin
GeoSystems through a strategic partnership with TC Technology. The partnership
allows Origin GeoSystems to bundle the complete GO! Sync Mobile GIS into its
current and next generation products. It will be offered to utilities that desire to
manage, analyze, distribute, and integrate intelligent distribution system data within
their field operations.
Origin Mobile is quick and intuitive to use and an ideal mobile mapping solution for
organizations of all sizes. It comes standard with quick searching, GPS, and routing
as well as sketching, red-lining and inspection capabilities. Data and application
updates are automatically distributed to wired or wireless mobile devices when users
are online. Origin Mobile easily integrates with most real-time work and dispatch
systems to provide clients with full-scale GIS capabilities.
