Mobility Takes Artist to International Mobile Market
Toronto, Ontario - February, 2007 - Addictive Mobility has recently launched its first bilingual mobile campaign for Ninemuse recording artist Chantal Chamandy. The campaign, which is already launched in Canada, is scheduled to launch in the United States and Egypt, which will connect the singer to a quarter billion mobile subscribers.
Chantal Chamandy, an Egyptian-born, Montreal-raised singing sensation, is known for her sensual vocals and global sounds. Her international presence in the music scene is undeniable as she displays her talents by singing in five different languages, reaching out to audiences all over the world.
To facilitate her ranging talents, a unique service is being launched by Addictive Mobility in accordance with Ninemuse Recordings and Zak Communications. Fans will be able to enter a contest for an all-inclusive trip to Egypt and see Chantal perform live at the pyramids which will be recorded live on PBS.
Using Addictive Mobility's IVR service, which is delivered via an in-house voiceover IP, the company is able to connect to a quarter of a billion people worldwide, reaching fans at all corners of the world. This gives fans a chance to hear Chantal's voice directly from their cell phones, as well as gain exclusive content via a microsite which will deliver content such as wallpapers and ringtones to their mobile device.
Users will find it easier to listen to music through their cell phones without having to download anything, as well as the convenience of receiving incoming calls as well as text messages though a callback service, while competitors will only offer 1-800 numbers that do not offer a callback option.
This is the first time Addictive Mobility is facilitating a bilingual mobile campaign that includes cross-country connectivity and bilingual access. Expansion into Egypt is scheduled for fall 2007.
Addictive Mobility Director Nussar Ahmad comments "By giving the fans a chance to listen to Chantal's music through their cell phones before buying, a larger market is reached with the amount of cell phone users worldwide. An artist with such international appeal requires a type of connectivity to her fans that only mobile promotions can provide." Traditional methods such as TV commercials, radio, bus shelter advertisements and a live broadcast of the concert on PBS will also be used to support the contest promotion.
