MobileAware Customers Selected as Finalists in Computerworld's Awards Program

Dublin, Ireland – May 9, 2007 – MobileAware, the world’s leading provider of Mobile Service Infrastructure, today announced that three of its customers – Atlas Air, Gaz Métro Plus and CSX Corporation – have been selected as finalists in Computerworld magazine’s “Best Practices in Mobile & Wireless 2007” awards program. The annual awards program identifies and acknowledges excellence among users of mobile technology and ranks wireless solutions according to criteria including the strategic importance of the solution to the business, substantive customer impact, financial return on investment (ROI) and the ability of the solution to accommodate future mobile initiatives.

CSX Corporation, a leading transportation company providing rail, intermodal and rail-to-truck transload services, and Gaz Métro Plus, the maintenance and repair subsidiary of one of Canada’s largest national gas distributors, Gaz Métro, were selected as finalists in the Business Evolution Through Mobilizing Field Workers category. This category recognizes the adoption of mobile and wireless strategies in the non-traditional mobile workforce. Submissions are evaluated on the ability of field workers to connect with corporate applications and data to get business done in a remote business environment. Increases in efficiency, service enhancement, productivity, and bottom line return are considered as part of this award.

CSX Corporation use MobileAware’s mobile messaging product, ExpressQ, to power a wireless work order solution that allows rail personnel to report progress on work orders and rail transportation events in real-time. Gaz Métro Plus has automated the company’s scheduling and dispatch process using MobileAware’s ExpressSync™, and has achieved a range of tangible business benefits, including a one-year ROI of 118%.

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. was selected as a finalist in the Deploying Wireless Mobility in the Enterprise category, which recognizes the ability of the IT organization to map and meet line of business challenges through top-down planning for wireless infrastructure. Atlas Air selected ExpressQ to develop a mobile solution that provides flight crews with easy access to schedule information from any global location, and minimizes the bandwidth costs of communicating schedule updates, ultimately improving crew productivity by eliminating flight delays associated with crew notifications. Atlas Air has already reduced its wireless communication costs by 10% and also plans to leverage its deployed mobile infrastructure to roll out mobile services to other parts of the organization, including to loadmasters and aircraft mechanics.

The winners in each category will announced at Mobile & Wireless World taking place May 21-23, 2007 at the Ritz-Carlton Grande Lakes in Orlando, Florida. Further information on the awards program is available at: http://www.mwwusa.com/awards.aspx.
