Focus Enhancements Provides TV-Out to MobaHO!(TM)

CAMPBELL, CA -- May 31, 2007 -- Focus Enhancements, Inc. (NASDAQ: FCSE), a worldwide leader in Ultra Wideband (UWB) wireless technology, video conversion and digital media, announced its FS•456 TV-out encoder chip is powering the MBRO501A, a new portable satellite broadcasting receiver containing a 3.5-inch display, from the Japan-based Mobile Broadcasting Corporation for use with its satellite digital multimedia broadcasting service, MobaHO!

"Our new handheld MBRO501A enables users to enjoy video and audio content while they are indoors, outdoors and on the go," said Mr. Atsushi Itsukaichi, senior manager of the business planning group of Mobile Broadcasting Corporation. "Many of our subscribers love to watch our broadcast programming on their TV display; consequently, TV-out is an important feature of the MBRO501A. The excellent TV quality and small size of the Focus Enhancements chip drove our selection."

"This is another example of how our TV-out quality is capturing the portable media market," said Tom Hamilton, executive vice president and general manager of Focus Enhancements' semiconductor group. "MobaHO! gives people the ability to watch a vast array of video content on the go, and our TV-out chip lets them expand the video experience to a full screen TV, from a very compact, battery operated device."

"Our inclusion in the MBRO501A illustrates how we leverage the strong working relationships we have with several levels of the consumer electronics channel," said Brian Willis, Focus Enhancements' business manager in Japan. "This device used a Freescale reference design with the FS•456, which was developed into a product by the Mobile Broadcasting Corporation in Japan. We have worked closely and cooperatively with all the parties involved."

About the Mobile Broadcasting Corporation and Mobile Broadcasting Service ("MobaHO!™"): Providing 50 channels of programming, MobaHO! is the world's first satellite digital multimedia broadcasting service for mobile use outdoors, indoors, and on the go.
