Telenor Pakistan Deploys PixSense Multimedia Management Solution for Mobile Subscribers

Macau – November 12, 2007 – PixSense, a leading provider of multimedia management solutions, today announced that Telenor Pakistan has deployed Telenor PicShare, a new service based on PixSense's PSP (Preserve, Share, Publish) Platform. For the first time in Pakistan, Telenor's PicShare service gives users a unique new way of sharing their memories online and through their mobile handset. Now, every photo, and video captured by a Telenor PicShare user is automatically uploaded online to a secure, private account and can be shared with other mobile phone and web users.

As one of the fastest growing providers of mobile communications services, Telenor Pakistan was looking for a secure yet economical way for its customers to share photos and videos on their handsets. PicShare service allows unlimited photos and videos captured on a mobile phone to be uploaded automatically, and securely, to a user's web gallery. Users can add comments and share them with friends and family directly from the web and from their phones.

The PixSense PSP Platform removes previous constraints of sharing memories captured by mobile phones by providing a next-generation phone-to-phone and phone-to-web photo sharing service. With "one click,” every digital clip taken is automatically uploaded online, to be shared, blogged, pushed to 3rd party sites or archived. The platform advantage includes patent-pending Bio-Compression(TM) technology which provides real-time, on-device media compression, reducing the file size of photos and videos up to 85 percent without compromising media quality.

Chief Marketing Officer Telenor Pakistan Sigvart Voss Eriksen said "Now with PixSense we can easily host services for subscribers that will allow them to take advantage of their multimedia mobile devices, and enjoy greater freedom and creativity when managing and sharing the media they capture.”

PixSense breaks the barriers of mobile format incompatibility, and manages digital media for various resolutions and sizes, auto-resizes various mobile screens, and auto-formats conversion of different mobile media formats. The PixSense PSP is supported on over 180 handsets from various manufacturers running various operating systems including Symbian OS(TM), J2ME(TM) and Microsoft Windows Mobile®.

"We are very excited to work with Telenor Pakistan, which has taken the leadership role in the industry by offering a platform which helps its subscribers manage their media transparently and also allows building of mobile user communities thereby building a more lasting relationship with their subscribers,” said R. Paul Singh, president and CEO of PixSense.

PixSense will demonstrate its PSP Platform at GSMA Mobile Asia Congress in Macau, November 13-15, at booth C30 in the main exhibit hall and booth MIZ 15 in the Innovation Zone.
