DDS Wireless’ Taxi Business Wins New Customer in Australia

Richmond, BC - April 21, 2008 – DDS Wireless International Inc.'s (TSX: DD) Taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch Systems Inc. has continued to expand its market presence in Australia with the addition of Platinum Taxi’s Pty Ltd. of Melbourne, Australia as a customer. The Company already has Sydney-based Lime Taxis as its customer. This new agreement for PathFinder™ application and iPilot 8000™ mobile computers is initially for 100 vehicles with potential for further orders of iPilot 8000™ as Platinum pursues its expansion plans.

“We chose the Digital Dispatch PathFinder™ system combined with their iPilot 8000™ mobile computers after evaluating several systems available in the market. This solution best meets our needs and Digital Dispatch has a proven record of dependability and long-term customer support, which definitely contributed to our decision,” said Ali Kahraman, Managing Director for Platinum Taxis.

“Winning Platinum is another major step in establishing ourselves as a vendor of choice for the taxi industry in Australia and we are definitely very pleased,” said Steven Juliver, President for Digital Dispatch. “We welcome them as our valued customer and hope to continue this momentum in Australia.”

DDS Wireless’ Transit business, StrataGen Systems Inc., has also been gaining strength with many existing customers placing new orders. The latest customer to do so is SCR Medical Transportation (SCR) of Chicago, Illinois, who will be replacing their Vector 530™ mobile data terminals with the more advanced iPilot 8000™ mobile computers. The iPilot 8000™ deployment will be supporting a mixed application software environment that includes StrataGen’s ADEPT™ application.

“The success of the SCR project really highlights the fact that the StrataGen and DDS Wireless’ transit business are a perfect complement to each other for providing a complete solution for the transit operators,” said Mike Nienhuis, President of StrataGen. “This shows that this merger is moving in the right direction and the customers are emerging as the real winners.”

The two contracts including service agreements are worth over $1 million.
