ConvergeWireless Launches MyMileageGenie for Blackberry for Mileage, Time and Location Tracking
ConvergentWireless Inc., of St. Catharines, Ontario Canada, is a Wireless Business to Business Value Added Reseller (that specializes on Blackberry Smart Phones), today announced the introduction of MyMileageGenie & MyFormsGenie for BlackBerry. MyMileageGenie operates on all Blackberry Curve/8100/8800/8300 series Smartphone's running version 4.2 software and above. MyFormsGenie operates on all Curve/8100/8800/8300/8700/7250 Smartphone's running version 4.1 software and above.
Roland Bissell, the President of ConvergWireless Inc. (www.convergewireless.com) reported that MyMileageGenie is the FIRST Blackberry application to truly automate mileage tracking in North America. The application uses autonomous GPS built into the Blackberry SmartPhone to keep track of your mileage. MyMileageGenie promises to simplify logging business travel (miles or kilometers) when using a personal vehicle, and eliminate having to fuss with old paper logs or spreadsheets.
Bissell reported that with gasoline prices hitting an all-time high (almost daily it seems) that there has never been a better time for business owners, or employees, to download and implement MyMileageGenie. Blackberry users download and install MyMileageGenie on their Blackberry Smartphone (or deploy company wide using mobile data services on their BES) and simply "Punch In" at the beginning of the day, and "Punch Out" at the end of the day, reports Bissell. "It doesn't get any easier than that". Bissell goes on to report that MyMileageGenie automatically stores the data on the device, and once a month (or when ever you want), you send yourself a report that looks like an invoice via email. The report can then be submitted for reimbursement. How simple is that?
Blackberry owners can download the application from www.convergewireless.com/wap/mmg/mmg.php, using their Blackberry, and try it free for 14 days. Corporate Trial extensions are available. At the end of the 14 day trial the user is given the option of purchasing a license key for $59.95 over a secure connection to their web site.
Mobile professionals, who rely on using their personal automobiles for business, know all to well the pain associated with having to track their mileage and complete their "Expense Reports". MyMileageGenie promises to simplify tracking, and creating expense reports related to automobile use.
