Intrinsyc Wins 2008 Microsoft® Windows® Embedded Excellence Award

Vancouver, BC – June 4, 2008 – Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX: ICS), a global wireless software solutions provider, was recognized by Microsoft for the achievement of its Soleus software platform in driving Windows Embedded designs for Portable Navigation Devices (PNDs). Over the last year, device makers used Soleus to develop PNDs that can provide real-time traffic reports, road-closure information and point-of-interest updates, as well as let the user conduct local searches and stay connected with instant messaging, phone and email. The Excellence Award was presented at a ceremony during Microsoft Tech Ed North America 2008 in Orlando, Florida.

“Windows Embedded is excited to recognize Intrinsyc as a leading innovator with its Soleus software platform,” said Ilya Bukshteyn, Director of Marketing for the Windows Embedded Business. “Soleus, based on Windows Embedded CE, allows handset makers to develop smart, user-friendly and feature-rich navigation devices that make it easy for users to go from point A to point B and stay connected along the way.”

“Consumers want their navigation devices to not only provide directions, but also useful information including traffic congestion and points-of-interest,” said Glenda Dorchak, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Intrinsyc Software. “Soleus allows this connection that improves consumers’ overall navigation experience. We are pleased to partner with Microsoft to deliver an industry-leading solution for OEMs and ODMs in the fast-growing connected PND segment.”

The Soleus software platform further opens the consumer wireless device market to Windows Embedded technology by bringing wireless connectivity to Window Embedded CE-based devices. From connected media handsets to PNDs, the Windows Embedded CE-based Soleus platform provides a complete software solution that speeds time-to-market, reduces development costs, and provides innovation opportunities for wireless device makers.
