Brightpoint to Distribute Garmin Products in India
Plainfield, IN - Brightpoint, Inc. (Nasdaq:CELL) has announced that its subsidiary Brightpoint India PVT. LTD. ("Brightpoint") will provide product distribution services for Garmin Ltd., the global leader in satellite navigation, throughout India. Brightpoint, through its various distribution sales channels, will market and distribute a range of Garmin's mobile phone products as well as Garmin's PNDs (personal navigation devices), accessories, and Garmin Mobile hardware and software products.
Over the past 5 years, Brightpoint India has developed and trained an extensive network of resellers with access to over 30,000 retail points of location across the country. Brightpoint India's compelling infrastructure and capabilities will allow it to provide Garmin with world class distribution services and access to millions of end users for their products.
