Tranzeo and Vecima Partner on WiMAX Eco-System Solution
Pitt Meadows, British Columbia - Tranzeo Wireless Technologies Inc. (TSX:TZT), a premier manufacturer of wireless broadband and WiMAX communication systems, and Vecima Networks Inc., The Last Mile Solution® for broadband wired and wireless networks, have completed a collaboration on an end-to-end 3.5GHz WiMAX system, based on the 802.16-2004 standard, featuring Vecima's best of breed base station technology and Tranzeo's high-performance customer premise equipment.
The solution is being marketed globally by Vecima under the Vecima VistaMAXTM brand and is currently available for volume production. The Vecima VistaMAX OBR3500 3.5GHz WiMAX base station and Tranzeo-made 3.5GHz WiMAX subscriber units are fully interoperable for seamless operation and managed by Vecima's WiMAX Network Management System.

The VistaMAX solution is competitively priced to ensure low capital expenditure by network operators and feature-rich to deliver enhanced services and support such applications as tiered residential Internet access, voice over IP, cellular backhaul and enterprise data access in the licensed 3.5GHz band.
The VistaMAX base station solution is flexible enough to allow for high density urban deployments or low density rural rollouts. As a point-to-point backhaul solution, it can be used to connect the cell with other cells or main backbone interconnection points as well as create multiple point-to-point links to high data rate subscribers.
