VoodooVox’s In-Call Media Solution Recognized as Finalist for Hispanic Media Innovation Award
San Francisco, CA - October 9, 2008 – VoodooVox has been recognized by the 2nd Annual Hispanic Digital and Print Media Awards for its unique and successful ability to help brands reach and engage U.S-based Hispanics. The widely recognized awards have chosen VoodooVox as a finalist of the Top Hispanic Digital Media Innovation Award.
VoodooVox is pioneering an advertising format known as In-Call Media which allows advertisers to engage with consumers via interactive voice ads dynamically inserted into as many as 300 million monthly phone calls—calls in which advertising makes the call free or ads are part of optional features made available to consumers as they make a variety of routine calls. Through VoodooVox’s In-Call Media network, advertisers can reach a variety of consumers including mainstream, small and medium business, youth, and multicultural audiences. VoodooVox has recently been featured in the Wall Street Journal, AdAge, The Today Show and CNBC as a breakthrough medium.
VoodooVox was nominated for its innovation in developing a media solution using prepaid calling cards. “We are honored to have been recognized by Portada Magazine and the Hispanic Marketing community for this important award,” said J. Scott Hamilton, CEO and President of VoodooVox. “Just being short-listed as a leading innovator in new media marketing is an honor as we build upon our success in helping brands and Hispanic consumers interact in fun and engaging ways.”
The awards will be handed out at the 2nd Annual Digital and Print Media Conference, presented by Portada Magazine on October 9th in New York City. The unique conference brings an array of highly focused panels, presentations and awards by the best minds in Hispanic and Latin American digital and print media and advertising.
