Masternaut Three X Moves Up Tech Track 100 Rankings

Leeds, UK - Masternaut Three X is celebrating having been named as one of the UK’s fastest growing technology companies for the second year running. The UK vehicle tracking and mobile resource management company was ranked 43 in the 2008 Tech Track 100 league table that was recently published in the Sunday Times, up an impressive 20 places on their 2007 listing. The annual Sunday Times Tech Track 100, sponsored by Microsoft, Barclays Commercial and BDO Stoy Hayward, ranks Britain’s fastest growing private technology companies based on sales growth over the last two years.

Masternaut Three X uses Microsoft Virtual Earth as part of end-to-end solutions for businesses on the move, including vehicle tracking, mobile workforce applications and Microsoft Dynamics business management software. Originally established as a best of breed vehicle tracking company recent acquisitions have propelled the business into one of the key players in the total mobile resource management field. Masternaut Three X is proud to be a Microsoft Gold Partner and Managing Director Martin Port was recently named as the Ernst & Young 2008 Northern Entrepreneur of the year for Technology and Communications and will go on to represent the region at the national finals held in London later this year.

“To be included within the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 for two years running is a tremendous achievement for the team,” said Martin Port, Managing Director of Masternaut Three X. “Our continued growth is a reflection of the hard work, dedication and professionalism of every single person within the company. Our solutions are of even greater value to businesses at a time when the economy is getting tougher.”

Port continued, “Since starting the company in 2002 with just 3 employees Masternaut Three X has grown sales to £22 million with profits this year rising to over £2million. The company now has over 200 employees, over 2000 customers in the UK and recently opened offices in Ireland and Australia. This growth can be attributed to a desire to provide the best business solutions coupled with the finest customer service, an ethos which, we hope, will lead to future honours and success.”

Increasing business efficiency, reducing overheads and minimising environmental impact Masternaut Three X creates, delivers and supports end to end solutions including back office systems for finance and CRM, mobile workforce applications and hosted services.
