CTDI Acquires Phoenix Wireless

West Chester, PA - Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI), the largest global telecommunications repair and logistics service provider, today announced the acquisition of Phoenix Wireless, a leading provider of wireless communications and electronics accessories. The acquisition is strategic to CTDI and Phoenix based on financial, operational and customer synergies. The acquisition will enable Phoenix to expand its product and service offerings through CTDI's capabilities, which include engineering and distribution expertise via more than 3,800 employees and 39 world-class distribution centers in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.

Following the acquisition by CTDI, Phoenix Wireless will continue to provide the highest quality wireless and electronics accessories under the Phoenix brand. And as a strategic and sizable parent company, CTDI will enable Phoenix Wireless to significantly expand its product offering, distribution channels and services via access to CTDI's global capabilities. These synergies will provide customers with just-in-time, in-region delivery of Phoenix Wireless products on a global basis.

According to Brian Parsons, director of CTDI's Products Division, "The acquisition by CTDI provides operational and financial scalability to Phoenix Wireless, a leader in the accessories business, as well as incremental customers for both companies. This will enable Phoenix to deliver an exciting, evolving product set coupled with enhanced service and delivery levels." Phoenix will operate under CTDI's Products Division and will bolster the company's strong portfolio of access products.

Both the management and facilities of Phoenix Wireless will be retained following the acquisition. Phoenix will manage its customers sales, service and product needs without change to existing processes. "I view the acquisition as a critical strategic event for Phoenix Wireless that will result in exceptional products and services for our current and future customers. We at Phoenix expect strong growth and continued product and service excellence via a strong parent in CTDI," said Dave Mausolf, CEO of Phoenix Wireless.
