Digicel Pacific and Mpathix Launch Next-Generation Messaging Services in Three New Markets
Toronto - Mpathix Inc. has launched next-generation voice and messaging services in three of Digicel's South Pacific markets. The wireless network launches in Fiji, Vanuatu and Tonga represent the latest market additions in Digicel's aggressive expansion in the region.
The Mpathix platform will enable these markets to improve call completion rates and boost billable network traffic through staple applications like voicemail and missed call notification. More advanced features such as celebrity greetings support and unified messaging will give Digicel more revenue generation opportunities.
"Digicel is a demanding network operator that needs suppliers who can keep pace with their build-outs. We're pleased to provide them with the services and products they need to penetrate markets efficiently and effectively," says Robert Manning, Vice President of Global Sales, Mpathix.
"We've worked with Mpathix for all our market rollouts in this region, and we're extremely happy with the combination of reliability, functionality and affordability they offer. Mpathix is very responsive to our needs and we look forward to continuing this working relationship," says Eugene O'Shaughnessy, CTO, Digicel South Pacific.
