AnyDATA Corporation Announces Tiny Personal Care Device and LBS Solution
Irvine, CA - AnyDATA Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacture of wireless communications devices, announces the APT-210 personal care device and mobile tracking applications as part of AnyDATA's complete LBS solution. This turnkey solution enables service providers to offer a premium safety and security service.
The new APT-210 is a tiny, medallion-sized personal care device that can track the individual whether indoors or outdoors. It includes an alert button that immediately notifies a monitoring service provider and the caretaker.
The AnyDATA LBS solution now includes downloadable Windows smartphone and iPhone applications. On both the desktop and mobile screens, users view a map with the current location of the APT-210 device and are provided with real-time status alerts like speeding or exiting a geofence.
The innovative APT-210 is tiny tag that can be worn by an individual, kept in a pocket, or hidden in a car or other valuable assets. This tag can be tracked in real-time from a caregiver's mobile phone. The LBS tracking solution provides personal freedom and safety for elderly adults, children, or pets who may tend to stray.

The AnyDATA family of tracking devices includes the AGT models that are optimized for asset, container, and vehicle tracking. All the devices operate on the dual 800 and 1900 Mhz CDMA networks. AnyDATA previously won the CTIA E-Tech award for its tracking devices in 2007.
The APT-210 device is being certified by a national U.S. carrier and will be undergoing field trials in the second quarter of 2009.
