Mobile Commerce Named in Tech Media Invest 2009 Top 100 UK Technology and Media Companies
Mobile Commerce, the UK’s leading provider of location-based services (LBS), monetised search and mobile content integration, has been named in the Tech Media Invest 2009 Top 100 – a showcase for the UK’s most innovative media and technology companies.
This is the latest accolade for Mobile Commerce, following on from recognition in the Deloitte Fast 50 in 2008 and Red Herring’s 100 Europe Award.
The Tech Media Invest 2009, in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Kemp Little LLP, is a platform for entrepreneurial companies that are developing new ways to serve businesses and consumers, and have the potential to radically change the shape of the technology and media industry.
Mobile Commerce was selected for its strong competitive business model, attractiveness to potential partners and track record of developing state-of-the-art and well advanced technology solutions in comparison to its competitors.
“We are delighted to be selected in the Tech Media Invest 2009,” said Steve Page, CEO of Mobile Commerce. “It’s been another busy year for us so far, we’ve launched our search service in the US, and signed some exciting new partnerships, so it’s great to receive any award for the hard work we’ve put in. However, it’s especially satisfying to be selected by the calibre of industry experts on the Tech Media Invest 2009 panel, and inspires us to continue to develop new and existing services for the mobile sector.”
The Tech Media Invest 2009 will take place on 1 October at the Emirates Stadium in London.
About Mobile Commerce
Founded in 1999, Mobile Commerce is the UK’s most successful provider of search and location solutions for the mobile telecommunications industry.
