DDS Wireless' StrataGen and Digital Dispatch Units Sign $1.4 Million in New Contracts

DDS Wireless International Inc. (CA:DD 1.44, 0.00, 0.00%) announces today that its Transit business unit, StrataGen Systems, and Taxi business unit, Digital Dispatch Systems, have closed $1.4 million in new contract wins including two significant Transit contracts with non emergency medical providers in the United States and Sweden, and in the Taxi market, the first step of a large equipment upgrade in France and a new customer in the Boston area.

The largest contract is with Irving Holdings, Inc., a major provider of Para Transit Services in Texas and currently exploring other national markets. The contract calls for Irving Holdings, Inc. to deploy StrataGen System's ADEPT(TM) product to schedule and dispatch Non Emergency Medical Subcontractor. The project includes a unique module that allows for scheduling and reporting of Non Emergency Medical trips using data supplied through TEJAS (Texas Medicaid Program). It is anticipated that ADEPT(TM) will supply Irving Holdings with greater efficiencies in brokered subcontractor fleet usage while greatly easing administrative workload.

"We are very excited to work with a leader such as Irving Holdings on this application as we help them grow and operate their business with greater efficiencies," states Matt Scheuing, President of StrataGen Systems Inc. "DDS customers such as Irving Holdings now have the opportunity to extend their Para Transit brokerage operations into exciting new markets such as non-emergency medical transport, transit agency cost containment, scheduling, and dispatch while also benefiting from integrated applications and simplified vendor management."

Jack Bewley, President of Irving Holdings states, "The move to StrataGen aligns our company with a product which has proven it can schedule up to 28,000 trips per day in New York. After an extensive search of software companies, it became quickly obvious StrataGen System's ADEPT(TM) was the product which can grow our business from 4,000 brokerage trips today in Texas to the 50,000 we foresee in the next few years." Bewley also stated, "With StrataGen, Irving Holdings will customize the product to meet changes in the marketplace. This product will allow Irving Holdings the ability to communicate to smart phones as well as DDS mobile data terminals (MDTs) used by Irving Holdings."

The second contract is with Sirius-Humanum AB, a Stockholm, Sweden based provider of specialized transportation and professional personal assistants for special needs clients. This is the first transit customer for StrataGen Systems in Sweden and builds upon DDS' market presence in that market. The initial deployment covers a 30 vehicle implementation consisting of software licenses, project services and annual recurring maintenance for the hosted application.

The Company's Digital Dispatch business unit also signed and delivered on two large orders. The first, for Taxi G7 of Paris, was for the upgrade of 300 vehicles to DDS' latest generation iMax9000(TM) MDTs. A long-time user of DDS technology, this order is the first step in Taxi G7's initiative to upgrade its fleet. Taxi G7, with a fleet of more than 5,000 vehicles, is one of several large European taxi operators that rely on DDS technology to maintain market leading positions. Others include Taxi Stockholm, Helsinki Taxi, SKT taxi group of Copenhagen and Taxi Dusseldorf.

"This is yet another example of our long-time customers continuing to choose DDS technology to meet their business needs," stated Patrick Nangle, President of Digital Dispatch Systems. "The confidence shown in this choice underscores both G7's determination to maintain its market leadership and our commitment to provide industry-leading technology and support. With many of our customers and prospective customers reaching the end of their technology lifecycles, we are very excited about the market prospects for our latest generation technologies such as the iMax9000(TM)."

The iMax9000(TM) will provide Taxi G7 with advanced features and functionality such as 3D mapping, turn-by-turn navigation, high quality graphics and a touch screen display. In addition, the greater processing power, expanded memory, and 3G wireless capabilities offered by the iMax9000(TM) will enable Taxi G7 to further extend their system capabilities in the future.

In North America, Digital Dispatch is pleased to welcome Veterans Taxi, of Waltham, MA, as it becomes the latest taxi operator to enjoy the benefits of a DDS dispatch system, including the installation of 100 iMax9000(TM) terminals into their fleet. By choosing the PathFinder(TM) dispatch system and iMax9000(TM) MDTs, Veterans has opted for the most in-depth and comprehensive dispatch application in the market today, as deployed in some of the largest taxi fleets in North America and Europe.

As of the current date, DDS Wireless has delivered on approximately $600,000 in product and services under these contracts.
