Holiday Travelers Cut Stress with iFresh Rechargeable Backup Battery for Mobile Devices
Every day at airports all over the world, travelers rush to charge their phones between flights at charging stations and kiosks. With the number of holiday travelers expected to increase this year, charging mobile devices could turn into a major stressor. Fortunately, there is now an alternative to airport charging stations: iFresh (http://ifresh.us.com) by Bridgepoint Technologies, Inc. (http://www.bridgepointtech.com), the patented portable, rechargeable cell phone battery pack certified by Apple.
With a retractable Apple 30-pin connector, iFresh is a compact solution for travelers who don't want to spend time looking for places to charge their phones. The device's lithium polymer battery powers and charges all 30-pin iPod models, the iPad, and all iPhones -- including the iPhone 4 -- in less than two and a half hours, even when traditional chargers aren't an option.
"iFresh is the most powerful battery pack for its size," explained William Wu, president of Bridgepoint Technologies. "When you need extra power, you don't want to trek all over a busy airport to get it. iFresh connects directly to mobile devices for a convenient way to stay powered up on the road."
The iFresh can be recharged over 500 times. The device's intelligent power meter control more than doubles the battery time other battery packs typically deliver. A smart chip protects the battery from overcharging, over-discharging, overloading and short-circuiting. As a back-up battery, the iFresh provides up to eight hours of talking time, 45 hours of music and 10 hours of video.
iFresh is an option for those with other mobile phones and digital devices, too. The iFresh Universal model charges BlackBerry, Sony Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Phillips, LG and other popular smart phones and comes with 10 connector tips, including mini and micro USB and the Apple 30-pin connector.
Travelers who will be away from power sources can still charge their phones and mobile devices, thanks to the iFresh Solar Charge & Sync. Fully solar-powered, the unit includes a data transfer chip, allowing iPods and iPhones to be synced while charging, and powers 30-pin Apple devices for up to three hours of talking, five hours of video and 25 hours of music.
"Holiday travel is stressful enough without having to worry about keeping phones charged," Wu stated. "iFresh products allow travelers to concentrate on getting to their destinations while staying connected. Bridgepoint Technologies is excited to make iFresh technology available this holiday season."
iFresh is currently available in the U.S. at Hudson News Tech & Go stores in airports, at HomeDepot.com, and at Overstock.com; the device will soon also be available in Brookstone stores. In Canada, consumers will soon be able to find the iFresh at Rogers Media; Big Camera, Telecomm Services and Softbank are all onboard to carry the iFresh in Japan.
