DeviceAnywhere CEO Addresses Challenges of Managing Remote Workforces at CTIA


CTIA Enterprise and Applications, San Francisco, Calif., (October 4, 2010) – At CTIA Enterprise and Applications on Thursday, October 7, 2010, Faraz Syed, co-founder and CEO of DeviceAnywhere, the industry leading provider of technological solutions to streamline mobile content creation, certification and customer satisfaction, will participate on a panel alongside Oracle, Fidelity Investments and others, moderated by Yankee Group’s Vice President of Anywhere Enterprise research, Eugene Signorini. 

With the number of smartphones connected to enterprise networks steadily increasing, management of the remote workforce has become a key challenge for enterprise IT managers. Wireless solutions are being used to make managing the people, information and work flow more smoothly than ever. Mr. Syed, along with his fellow panelists, will discuss how selection decisions are made regarding wireless solutions and partners; how various implementation processes are executed; and how quickly leveraging solutions to manage enterprise mobility positively affects the bottom line. Mr. Syed will also provide insights into how enterprises are addressing fragmentation in the mobile device market as well as how IT departments are coping with the influx of smartphones and smartphone applications being brought into their networks. 

Additionally, DeviceAnywhere will showcase their comprehensive suite of mobile testing solutions on the main showfloor in booth #315 from October 6 – 8, 2010. DeviceAnywhere will also participate in CTIA’s pre-show event, ShowStoppers, at the W Hotel on Tuesday, October 5 from 7:00 – 9:00pm. 

Mr. Syed is a proven thought leader and entrepreneur in the wireless industry. He has presented and moderated various keynotes and panels both at industry events and at his alma mater, Stanford University. As CEO of DeviceAnywhere, Mr. Syed spearheaded the company’s evolution from being a technology provider for testing to its role today as a comprehensive mobile development environment.
