Globecomm's Techforum 2010 to Demonstrate Mobile Technology Solutions
Globecomm Systems Inc. (GCOM 8.40, -0.04, -0.47%) , a leading global provider of communications infrastructure solutions and services, announced today that its Techforum 2010 seminar on October 5 will feature speakers including Steven Berry, President and CEO of the Rural Cellular Association; David Tews, Vice President of Indigo Wireless; Mickey Simms, General Manager Buggs Island Telecom recently awarded stimulus finding for their rural broadband initiative, IPSI Bahamas, Edison Sumner, deploying a cost effective triple play to the market and effective ways to engineer remote coverage using dual satellites. Titled "Rural Carrier Initiatives, Market Expansion and Minimizing Costs," Techforum 2010 will address the needs of the operator and the use of new technology, followed by an Ericsson view on the converging media and mobile space.

Ericsson will present a live demonstration of LTE/ 4G, and the forum will close with thought-provoking keynotes on mobile digital television from senior mobile and media technology executives.
